About Christel, Professional show-jumper competing in 1st class grand-prix since 1995 Christel graduated in trade/business from the Auxerre Institute of Technology,holds the BEES 1° and is a senior show-jumping coach. She took over the family stables in 2000 which are located in the heart of beautiful Burgundy in the hamlet of La Bergenne on 345 acres of land.
Christel is a French runner-up horserider frequently ranked in professional Grand-Prix both in France and abroad, includingat the Lanaken young horses championships.
Christel offers prime coaching during private lessons to ensure her riders improve in dressage, show-jumping and gain a better knowledge in horse biomechanics.

Everyday, on reservation only, we provide private lessons to improve your riding skills. To best suit our riders’ expectations and help them achieve their riding goals and develop a true bond with their horses or ponies, Christel also offers training programs and year-long liveries with the opportunity to compete in club or amateur competitions.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Located 1h30 south of Paris, the Domain of la Bergenne includes
- 35 boxes with a field view and with high quality straw bedding and hay made on site.
- A 72 by 35 metres carousel in fibered sand from Fontainebleau with an office and a clubhouse.
- A 40 by 20 metres carousel with club house.
- A 65 by 25 metres dressage arena.
- An obstacle arena with a complete training area.
- The arenas and rides are maintained and watered every day.
- A spring garden and a cross all level.
- A high quality horse walker.
- Two trucks for 2 and 8 and a van for transporting horses.
- Two shower areas and treatment rooms, owner’s saddlery.
- 30 hectares of fenced paddock including 2 hectares only eserved for horses.

THE IDEA OF CREATING “PROFESSIONAL RIDER” COURSES AS WELL AS “COMPETITION & CSO JUMPING COURSES AT THE DOMAIN OF LA BERGENNE STARTED FROM A DOUBLE OBSERVATION.
There is, on the one hand, a real deficiency in the training of riders who intend to become professionals; The sector is experiencing recruitment difficulties linked to the low equestrian level of many candidates.
On the other hand, riders wish to participate in CSO, professional jumping competitions.
PROFESSIONAL RIDER COURSE
Our goal is to train good professionals and allow students to practice intensive riding in order to develop real skills and also allow them to participate in the conduct and management of a professional stable.
COMPETITION & CSO JUMPING COURSE
Our goal is to develop students in their mastery of technical gestures, allow them to practice intensive horse riding in order to develop real skills. Participation in outing competitions.
